Brand new playground equipment including table tennis, mini trampolines, croquet, an obstacle course and much more will be coming to our playgrounds thanks to our P&C. Our amazing P&C committee generously funded our equipment to support the school in improving playground play and getting our students’ active outside.
All students from K-Yrs6 took part in a voting and feedback session about the types of equipment they wanted on the playground. The Wellbeing Committee listened to student voice and have ordered a range of new equipment that will be on the playgrounds by the end of next week.
To create a culture of shared responsibility, classes will be responsible for caring and organising the different equipment pieces to ensure we don’t lose these expensive resources. All students will be involved in explicit lessons teaching them about how to play safely and to be respectful with the new equipment. We are all excited to get the equipment out into the playground.
