Reconciliation at Anzac Park Public School
At Anzac Park Public School, we are committed to Reconciliation by learning about and sharing First Nations cultures and perspectives, particularly those of the Cammeraygal people, the Traditional Custodians of our land. We aim to embed these perspectives across teaching and learning to foster respect, understanding, and a culturally inclusive environment.
We are currently developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to guide how we build relationships, respect, and opportunities in our classrooms, school, and wider community. This plan reflects our ongoing efforts to strengthen community connections and demonstrate our commitment to Reconciliation.
In 2023, our School and RAP Leaders collaborated with Elder Aunty Susan to create our school’s Acknowledgement of Country. Through learning, discussion, and art-making, students co-constructed the acknowledgement now used in assemblies, staff meetings, and beyond.
