Musica Viva Incursion Stage 2 & 3

On Wednesday 15th August, Stage 2 and Stage 3 students attended the Musica Viva 'March of the Fire Ants' performance. Students were taken on a musical tour of the fire tree and explored the sounds of lorikeets, fire ants and cicadas. The performance utilised a number of instruments to represent the inhabitants of the fire tree, including voice, cello, clarinet and keyboard. Students had the opportunity to participate in the performance to create a musical storybook of sounds from the fire tree.
