“I have been given so many opportunities at Anzac Park Public School — from band, public speaking, and debating, to representing in sport and taking on leadership roles. I’m so grateful for the effort the teachers and school have put in to help me follow my dreams and reach my potential. At Anzac Park, we’re encouraged to embrace a diverse range of cultures, ideas, and experiences that make our learning experience truly special.” - Year 6 student, Class of 2025
Student leadership opportunities
Student leadership helps young people find their voices, participate in decision-making, and understand their rights and responsibilities as active citizens. It helps students have a real impact on their learning and school environment and prepares them to participate meaningfully in their community.
Student Voice Leadership
The Year 6 Student Voice Leaders and Years 3-5 Student Voice Representatives represent the school and the student body, acting as the voices for one of ten squads.
House Captain and Vice Captains
Each student at Anzac Park is in one of our houses: Wark, Pockley, Larkin or Hobbes. Each year, students elect Captains and Vice Captains to lead these houses.
Library Monitors
Our Year 6 Library Monitors play an important role within our school. Selected students receive special library training and run lunchtime in the library activities.

As well as our visual and dramatic arts, Directions in Music runs our comprehensive extracurricular music programs including junior and senior band, strings ensemble and private music lessons.
